All the blog post of  GenkiJACS remind me that everything (my big trip) is coming closer. I ‘m probably not going to see Tokyo very soon. Yet this temple stays with me in my memory. A temple built in the 17th century , stands amidst busy Tokyo . Everywhere in the temple you quickly see the traces of the hyper modern Tokyo between the temple. And yet for me there was nothing wrong with it. The confrontation between old, traditional and classic fits perfectly between the concrete jungle , modern and busy Tokyo life.

Al de blogpost over GenkiJACS doen er mij aan herinneren dat het allemaal nu toch dichterbij komt. Tokyo ga ik waarschijnlijk niet zo snel zien. Maar toch blijft deze tempel mij bij. Een tempel gebouwd in de 17de eeuw, staat middenin het drukke Tokyo. Overal in de tempel zie je snel de sporen van het hyper moderne Tokyo tussen de tempel heen. En toch voor mij was hier niets mis mee. De confrontatie tussen oud, traditioneel en klassiek paste perfect tussen al het beton, moderne en drukke Tokyo leven.
